A few months ago Ice Age Records was kind enough to help us do a repress of the one-sided 12” from 2009. Same cover art, but with a new insert that correctly misspells Drew’s last name. It’s a also got a silky smooth B-Side this time, no grooves.

Black Kites Final Show
Our first show back will be at Black Kites & Troublemaker’s double header of a last show. Black Kites were the first band we got to do a weekend with after I joined the band, and have since become my favorite active hardcore band.

The sorry state of Antilles
Yo, so to make up for a lack of updates, here’s a breakdown of what us fools have been up to lately:
Antilles is still a band, albeit one that does very little. We’re still working on an LP, which is about half-written. You might have just said “Still?” and yeah, still. There are a couple new jams in the mix that we’re all pretty stoked about. We’re going to plan on playing Cloud Mouth’s show in Chicago at the end of October with some other buddies which will surely be a real cool time. Hopefully we’ll get our act together for some shows this winter, too.
Bassmaster noob Harrison keeps busy running Kid Sister Everything and doing his thang in Chicago. He has a new(ish) cat named Futureman. The other 3/4 of us live in Ohio and play in a new band called Grin and Bear It with longstanding Antilles road-dog and master-chef Richie. We just put out a 7”, which you can check out over here or pick up from this joke of a record label that I run. We’re also going on tour here soon.
Drew and I also play in a new stoner/sludge/Hum-worship band called Muzzy with some dudes from Two Hand Fools/Ultra Ultra and Pariah. It is loud and we should have a demo or something out soon. We have a couple shows coming up in Cleveland and Columbus on October 4th and 9th, respectively.
That’s about the gist of it. Hopefully we’ll see some of you locs sooner or later. Oh, and my dog Trooper has a tumblr now too where you can see him in all of his chimptastic majesty.
